Creativity is the fundamental source of innovation in any endeavor. For better or worse, current educational models generally focus on the development analytical skills at the expense of creative thought. My work in education focuses on the development of curriculum models for next-generation thinkers based on active/immersive/experiential learning which can be implemented at both the University level and in secondary education.

The Sci\|Art NanoLab is UCLA Summer Institute for high school students interested challenging traditional, polarized perspectives of the arts and sciences. The Sci\|Art NanoLab challenges the next generation to Imagine the Impossible!	AUP is a vibrant and visionary school community that uniquely integrates STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) curriculum in a 24-7 technology-rich learning environment by immersion in hands-on, experiential learning as well as collaborative discourse, creativity, critical thinking, and problem solving.
